Gill Church is a denominationally independent, Bible-based church of worship that emphasizes the Lordship of our Savior Jesus Christ. We are guided by the Holy Scriptures in issues of life and worship, believing they are authoritative, shed a unique light on our way, contain the divine answer to the deepest needs of humanity, and set forth the way to our eternal well-being.

Our History
Established as the First Congregational Church of Gill in 1796, around the time Gill was incorporated as a town. The modern-day ministry discontinued in the late 1980s and the building closed. In 1994 the building reopened under the leadership of Gary Bourbeau, and in 1996 the present-day ministry was established, eventually becoming independent and non-denominational and renamed Gill Church.

Pastor Gary Bourbeau is an Army veteran, a retired locomotive engineer and works part-time as a substitute teacher. He and his wife, Merri have lived in Gill for over 40 years. Merri teaches youth Sunday school and leads a ladies bible study Wednesday mornings.
